NEW BLOOM presents a look back at last week’s commemoration of the 31st anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre in Liberty Plaza. Given the ongoing protests in Hong Kong, a great deal of the event was Hong Kong-focused, and the event featured speakers from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Instead of a program of speakers and performers, as usually occurs with the annual Tiananmen Square commemorations in Taipei, anyone who wished to speak was invited to do so.

Our full report on the commemoration can be seen here.
